Toys and Equipment for groups:

The Best Start Hub is a great place to acquire toys on a temporary basis for:

Playgroups
Special events such as Carnivals, Canada Day Celebrations
Daycares
Agency Events/Activities

We have hundreds of quality toys for you to choose from. There are large items such as kitchen sets, building set, ride-on toys, and mini gyms as well as tabletop toys, puzzles, blocks, science and math items. The toys are suitable for children birth to six years of age. We also carry a selection of items for older children.

Lending Information

For groups:
A reasonable number of toys, books, kits, and videos may be borrowed on a temporary basis: usually for a day or a weekend. An application form is required to be filled out at the time the items are borrowed. There is a charge for overdue items. Lost or damaged items may be replaced at cost value or paid for through a donation Drop in and enjoy our resource library.

Elison Machine - This pressed-style die-cutting machine is ideal for cutting perfect letters, numbers and creative shapes for projects like scrapbooks, crafts, or greeting cards. A variety of die shapes are available to help make your project easier than ever before.
